Gastrojejunocolic Fistula

Abstract
Gastrojejunocolic fistula occur mainly as a complication of marginal ulceration after simple posterior gastrojejunostomy in duodenal ulcer patient and then - ultimate result of such fistula is profoundly deranged gastrointestinal physiology that will eventually cause the death of the patient without adequate, active operation.
Such patient complained off intermittent epigastric pain, weight loss associated with diarrhea and vomiting, and is diagnosed mainly by barium enema.
The question of one-stage or multiple stage operations continue in controversy. From the point of view of patient, one stage operation is preferable.
As a result of the new methods of preoperative preparations of debilitated patient for surgery, and improvement in anesthetic technique, we feel that- one stage operation is preferable.
